NextStop
My friends told me they were going to open up a new store in Stafford, VA, and asked me to come up with a logo.
Their mission was to sell clothes at competitive prices like Ross. Their consumer would be adult and young girls and boys. They came up with the name “Next Stop” on their own and I liked it. Their idea to convey in the logo was the influence of road signs and visual elements of it. Most clothing brands use wordmarks and that is why a wordmark would be a good idea for the logo. Then I added the stop sign, which is a universal symbol, onto the logo, afterwards, I added some lines into the letters to make it look as a warning tape, the one that you see in crime scenes or hazardous areas, and became something more of a combination logo.
This is the front of the store which has the window decals that I designed to dress up the exterior. The installation of them was performed by us and the picture was taken by as well.
This is the store at night when all the shops around are closed, the lights of the county light up the streets, and everything seems more quiet.
