Self Portrait - Watercolor Effect

As a student for George Mason University, we were asked to do a work that showed our field of expertise. My major was graphic design and I decided to do a portrait of myself in watercolor effect using Illustrator.
I used the pen tool on all the areas. Then, the color transparency was my friend throughout the process of filling the shapes with color. I chose blue because it is one of my favorite colors and also conveys a feeling of serenity and that is how I felt during that working process.
